Why I hate My job:

Part one: In a one on one with my boss after working here for awhile, I told her that I felt I was more an "administrator" or "assistant" than an actual analyst. She told me that she thought no such thing.

The same week she sends an email out "Please send the information to my assistant..."

Part two: In another one on one with my boss, I repeat the fact that I feel a bit like an assistant, putting in the fact that perhaps I was more of an executive assistant. She told me she thought no such thing.

Since that meeting I have repeatedly made lunch reservations, calendared meeting, made copies and I even changed her printer cartridge for her.

Part three: An email conversation...
Boss Lady: I'm trying to book Gamma on Monday from 1:30 - 3 pm. It looks open to me from Outlook but when I try to book it it keeps telling me it's already booked. Ideas?

Me: It's already booked from 2:30 to 3:30 (wrongly assuming that she knew, per an email sent to her earlier, that if the room is booked at all outlook won't let you book it at all)

Boss Lady: Every time I try to book it 1:30 - 3 pm I get that same error message even though clearly in Outlook it looks open. SCREAMMMMMMMM Wanna just book it for me plz and then I'll send out a separate invite for the people.

Me: It's already booked - there is a meeting in Gamma from 2:30 to 3:30 that's why it won't let you book that time

Boss Lady: Sorry - I meant to ask you to book it 1:30 - 2:30 pm (not till 3) which I've done. Thx.

Gggrrrr...

And, mistakenly, I thought I would actually use my brain in this position. Here I am once again, being an over-qualified admin assistant.

Anyone know of any open positions? It appears I am looking once again.
