When Tuesday Feels Like Monday…

When Tuesday Feels Like Monday...

You know you have had a three day weekend.
Mine was pretty good. Started the whole thing off on Friday night with happy hour drinks at the Lava Lounge. Next came dinner at Julia's in Wallingford! Go Wallingford! It was yummy. They roast a whole clove of garlic and then slice it in half. Then you take the yummy roasted goodness out and spread it on warm bread with butter... yumm!

I was hurting a bit Saturday morning though. It happens. I went to a costume workshop for my Belly dancing class. It mostly consisted of the teacher showing off all of her costumes in hopes of inspiring us to either get a seamstress or buy a costume (as most of us could never dream of creating anything close to what she was showing us.) Finally, after about an hour and a half of sitting on a hard floor, slowly getting very bored, she showed us a couple of attainable patterns. At least they looked attainable.

Saturday afternoon I drug Freeman to the Redhook Brewery in Woodenville to go on a tour. It was fun smile We had a late lunch there and missed a couple of tours (mmm, beer) before we finally caught one. We were then led upstairs to the "tour viewing gallery" where we drank more beer and listened to the guide talk about Redhook like he had been there from the beginning. Which was really funny because he was from Australia and had been in the country for a month. The tour cost a $1 (it was free with a coupon from the internet, but we paid $1 anyway...)and we got these cool little glasses. smile Then we headed back to Ballard. I was already much intoxicated... So the rest of the evening is kind of blurry.

Sunday. Now Sunday I remember! Sunday I went to Costco. Sunday I got my oil changed. Sunday I went to a new restaurant in Freemont called the Nickerson Street Saloon and then went home and took a 2 hour nap. It was lovely. Sunday night I went to People's Pub with Freeman and Evan(Freeman's friend from Portland.) We had a few drinks at People's before heading over to Sunset Bowl for some bowling fun! I didn't bowl very well - but I had great fun and that is all that matters. I also got two little plastic rings from a vending machine. I was going for a fake sparkly one but I didn't get it. I gave up after the second one. Which is probably good. Evan tried to get the pull tab machine to work, but it wasn't happy with him. So where I wasted my money on good plastic rings that were made in china, Evan didn't even get the satisfaction of a pull tab.

Monday was pretty laid back. I went to Mom's and we hung out. Then I went home and finished up my weekend chores. All in all it was a pretty calm weekend.

Now I am back at work and today feels like Monday. Ick.
