Well, well, well

Well, well, well

So - the first part of the holidays are complete. Mark and Breeayne made it into town Christmas Eve and slept till Christmas morning. Late morning. I think they got up around 10 - which was about the time Freeman and I arrived smile
We celebrated Christmas Eve at Freeman's house. He loved his blanket. His mom loved her blanket too. Freeman's blanket was what he asked for, fringe and puff balls! It turned out really pretty. I'm so glad smile
He gave me a DVD player and I am just ecstatic about it! I have been wanting a DVD player for months now! Now I have one! And it does all kinds of nifty things, like play CD's and JPEGS and other stuff that I don't even know about yet! Yeah! And I got my first DVD, which was really funny, because mom got Freeman the same DVD for Christmas that he got me! Only mom bought him the full screen version and Freeman got me the widescreen version. Anyway -it was funny.
I was totally spoiled again this year for the holidays. In more ways than one. I got to spend time with two really great families (mine & Freeman's) which just rocked.

Friday, Boxing Day!, I took Mark and Breeayne up to Seattle for the afternoon. We walked along the pier, went to the Pike Place Market, visited the aquarium and the Space needle. It was really neat to be up on the space needle as the sun was setting. I haven't been up there in years, and Mark & Breeayne had never been up there. So it was exciting for us all. Sunday we went to Poulsbo via the ferry to Bainbridge. It was fun. We stopped to take lots of pictures. We spent a fair amount of time in Poulsbo before we headed to Bremerton so Mark could see some of the big ships. Then we headed home across the Tacoma Narrows bridge.

So - today I am back at work. :( I really don't want to be. I really want another week of doing as little as possible and having fun in the process. But I live in the real world and have to pay those darn bills!

smile

Happy Monday!
