Weekend & Observations:

I went to the symphony on Friday night. It was really good. It was one of those times, though, where I really wished I had thought to go alone. Music has such a profound effect on me, especially in that format, that having another person want to talk and chat and walk around kind of ruined it for me. It was difficult for me to pay attention to the person I was with and the music in the way that I wanted to. Lesson learned I guess. Now I know that when I return to the symphony, I need to go with someone who reacts to music the way that I do.

Saturday was FUN! I went over to Alki and watched the Pirates land.

YAR!



Sunday was the first practice game for Kickball, which starts next Sunday. We did pretty good, at least we won the game. As we are an individual team, meaning none of us really knew each other before this, we all thought it best to practice a bit before that actual start of the season (which is next Sunday) It was fun! We all went out for beers afterwards.

Observations:

In Celebration of the Parade we had a party! Yeah for Parties! Delilah invited some people to dance for us. I didn't get any pictures of the indoor show (I was trapped in a corner) but I did get some excellent pictures of the outdoor show:




I decided to sign up for the power belly dancing class on Thursday nights. It started last week. I think she was trying to kill us. I really liked the class!

I was riding the bus this morning, as I normally do, and we stopped to pick up a lady. Only she was so overweight that they had to put out the electric lift for her. The really sad thing is, she only went three blocks. If she would only start walking those three blocks - she might not have to be lifted onto the bus. It was sad.
