Thursday already?

Yeah - so I took the GMAT yesterday - I didn't do the best so I will have to re-take it. That's okay though, I was hoping to do well, but I think I knew deep down that this was more of a practice test. I'm not being to hard on myself. Especially considering how long it has been since I have done any of the crap they ask you to do. Sometimes life just works that way.

Story Time....
Rick (mom's boyfriend) has a little sister. She's probably 12 or 13 now, maybe older but I don't really keep track of her. Anyway, she had decided at some point that she would collect beanie babies, which is all fine and dandy until she outgrew them. Rick was making a trip home and stopped by to see his dad and she handed him two large bags of beanie babies to deliver to her nephew and niece.

When mom saw these, she decided to pick out a few for family and friends.
She decided upon the Dragon for my brother -

She picked this really cool lizard named "Dragon Slayer" for my sister-in-law...

For me she picked:

Yup - a buzzard. Now she said when she gave it to me that when she saw it it just made her think of me...
smile

tell me that you see the funniness in this...

(side note, she gets upset when I point out the fact that the beanie she picked for me is a carrion eating creature that is not known for its good qualities. She really picked it out because its has neat coloring and is soft. And it does have great coloring and is really soft, but it is still a buzzard and that makes me laugh.)

So - this morning I get into work and I get this message from my friend Erin:

"I thought you'd find this funny. You know, since your representative
animal is a buzzard for whatever reason smile

HAHAHAHAHA! That story just makes me laugh!

Cleo Update:
I think my cat is stupid. I wasn't sure before, but yesterday she proved to me that intelligence is not her strong suit. I had a candle lit, it was sitting on my kitchen table. Cleo proceeded to go up to the candle and sniff it (she tried to lick the flame as well.) As she was trying to sniff it she burned some of her whiskers. Now, you would think that burning off her whiskers would tell her that fire is hot and not to go near it. Not my kitty! She kept going back to the flames trying to figure them out. I had to yell at her several times to STAY AWAY from the open flames. Just thinking about having to take her to the vet again because she burned off all of the hair on her face... can you imagine what they would think? First I go in because she jumped off my balcony and then I'm in again (in less than 2 weeks) because my cat decided to burn the hair off her face... somehow I don't think they would look upon me with kind eyes...
