Slacker…
Slacker...Okay - I am a total slacker. I haven't blogged since, um, last Friday. That was FOREVER ago! So much has happened that it will take me forever to catch up...
Friday:
Went out with my old group for our last group outing. Lets just say it took forever to figure out where we were going to go. We finally ended up having a meeting in Brad's office to make the decision. We went to Gameworks which was really fun for me. I don't know about the rest of the group. I wanted to play and do things - they kind of wanted to sit around and chat. I am not a chatter. Not with these people. And not when I am about to leave and go to a different group. I just don't work that way!
Mom came up to spend the night (for the parade) and we went out to eat. We went to this little Italian place that I found with this guy ages ago. That would be Garret. Garret is a funny story. Maybe later when I am bored I will tell you about Garret (cause it really is funny...) Anyway, he took me to this great little Italian restaurant that mom and I found again. I had forgotten all about it. The food is still as good as it ever was. And the atmosphere... just can't be beat
Saturday:
Saturday was the Freemont Solstice Parade. Which I was in. Which was totally cool and very awesome and I am seriously considering doing it again next year. It was so fun. It was incredibly hot and very exhausting. But the crowds! The people cheering! Man! It was a rush! And to know that I worked as hard as I did to do it all... It was - well - awesome! After the parade we hung out in the park for awhile and ate grapes, watermelon and drank lots of water. Then mom and I started off for the fair. We didn't get very far before Freeman called and invited us to People's Pub. Mom decided that she wanted to just go home (she had been tot he fair already) and I was tired of walking. So she took me home. I took a shower (cause I needed one VERY badly) and headed over to People's Pub. We ate deep fried pickles and Freeman's mom got intoxicated. Which was funny. Then we walked up to Ben & Jerry's for ice cream. It was perfect. Freeman and I headed back to his place where I promptly feel asleep on the couch. I was a tired girl. It was Fun!
Sunday:
Sunday was hot. I went to some park up in Lynnwood. Which was neat, but I was expecting more people. I headed home and went to Pike Place market for a bit. Then I headed home. I didn't feel like hanging out by myself (I will get plenty of that next week while I am recovering) so I went and bugged Freeman for awhile. We decided not to waste the sunlight and headed over to Golden Gardens. It was awesome. I know - again with that word. But it was really cool.
And that was my weekend. I will go into more detail about Sunday night later... but right now I have to get to work. That's right! You read correctly! I have work to do!!!
