Pants Problem
I’m continually on the look out for pants. Finding a pair of pants that fits and is comfortable…it has always been a bit of a battle for me. I’ve had the same problem with jeans as well. Either they are too relaxed and look baggy of they are too tight and cut off the circulation to various parts of my body. My favorite has to be the skinny legged jeans or pant that squeezes my calf until my legs start cramping and I start seeing stars. I once wore a pair of jeans like this and ended up walking for a mile or so, I seriously thought I was going to pass out from the pain in my legs.
I had given up on women’s jeans and went back to wearing men’s jeans, which almost fit correctly, almost, when I walked into a Gap store and found them. The Boyfriend jeans. And not just any boyfriend jeans, but jeans in my size, that fit the way I’ve always wanted jeans to fit. I wear them every chance I get. I love these jeans. LOVE them.
Because of my success at finding the jeans I decided that perhaps it was time to search for pants again. What a horrific mistake. I have tried on so many pairs of pants that are too baggy, to tight, sit too high or too low, it’s been very discouraging. I was in the dressing room with my mom lamenting, “why can’t I find a pair of pants that fit like my jeans?”
I ended up buying a couple of pairs of pants that I thought would be good, only to wear them and feel uncomfortable all day long. They were made of this weird stretchy material and the zipper was in the back. I understand the purpose of having a zipper in the back, but it makes things a little more difficult in the bathroom. I don’t like having to fight my clothes.
So, knowing my constant battle with pants, and jeans, and my new found love for the Boyfriend Jean, you can imagine my total EXCITEMENT when I saw the new Gap add for the Boyfriend Trouser.
Can it be so? Did they actually make pants that fit like my jeans?
I can only hope, and order them to find out!
Cross your fingers for me!
