New Meaning…

Yesterday Hubby and I went shopping.  Yeah for shopping!  We were doing the best kind of shopping too.  The kind where you shop for total strangers because your place of work has decided to adopt them for the holiday.  Our adopted family has three girls, a baby boy and a mom.  I am in charge of board games and a first aid kit.  We got 4 games and the kit, go us!
After shopping for unknown people, we were hungry and decided to grab some lunch.  We went to a local place, the Old Town Ale House, so hubby could have some good beer.  We were served quickly and were enjoying our meal, the food really is fantastic.
Hubby got up to go to the rest room.  Not a big deal.  Really, I can sit at a table all by myself.  Except, of course, when there is a little girl sitting backwards in her chair staring at me.
There I am, sitting at the table by myself, eating my soup, when I look up and see these two blue eyes watching me.  I try smiling at her, nothing.  I try ignoring her, but every time I look up there she is, staring me down.  Hubby was only away from the table for a couple of minutes, but it felt like forever with the creepy blue-eyed girl staring me down.  It was strange.
I was telling hubby about the little girl when I glanced back in the restaurant and got a breast shot.  Not sure that I saw what I thought I saw, I looked back again.  Sure enough, there was a woman breast feeding at her table.
Gives a whole new meaning to the term Family Dining…
