Cant…Sit…Still

Today work is throwing The Man and I a wedding shower.  I’m so excited I can’t sit still.  We’ve invited almost 90 people from work.  Between the two of us we know a lot of people at work.  It’s pretty cool. 
We also got two new wedding gifts last night.  An atomic wall clock and a crock pot!  I am VERY excited about both.  I did a little dance around the living room while F laughed hysterically at me.  I guess he’s never seen someone so excited about a clock and crock pot before.  What can I say? 
I have been feeling all kinds of crazy feelings this week, I’ve been hovering on the edge of depression and then swinging into crazy happiness, so I figured I should wait to blog till I was back on even keel again.  So I didn’t mention last weekend’s festivities. 
Last weekend mom and her neighbor Jean threw me a bridal shower.  I have only been a couple bridal showers so I had no idea what to expect.  I remember a friend’s in CO where we played pin the penis on the man…I happened to win that particular game (and I was blindfolded!) In another shower I went to, the only thing I really remember is my friend getting a Costco sized package of TP.  My shower was somewhere in-between those two – right where it should have been!
We played this game, it was pretty unfair actually, but fun none-the-less, where everyone brought a pair of undies and I had to guess who brought which pair.  The variety in styles, shapes and sizes was pretty amazing.  I made it through the game, but just barely.  Hehe
The best part though, were the cream puffs.  Yummy yummy cream puffs that tasted so delicious in their puffy creaminess.  Oh, they were fantastic.
