blah blah blah - again?
blah blah blah - again?Only 2 more days till Christmas! It seems so weird to celebrate something like Christmas, but I am excited for everyone to get their gifts! I worked so hard on the blankets, and Mom is going to LOVE what I got her... Only a couple more days till all in unveiled!
The weekend was great. Went to a party at my Boss' house - which was really fun. His house was incredible. I bet he really loves going home every night. I know I would. There were interesting things going on there to - I always find it fascinating to see how people interact when they are not at work. And even better, to see how they interact after a few drinks. I am sure I would have been just an entertaining if I had been drinking, but I was DD so I was VERY good and had one drink at the start of the evening and then cut myself off.
Saturday I wrapped gifts at Mom's house. I also went to the dentist. That was fun. I know, I know, I am very strange. But I like having my teeth cleaned. I like knowing that I am doing what I should to take care of myself. And teeth are a huge thing! I want to keep them for a very long time. So I like going to the dentist cause that means I am taking care of things... Plus I get a new toothbrush. There is just something really great about getting a new toothbrush.
Saturday night Freeman took me to Sakura - which is a Japanese restaurant in Tacoma. It is one of those places where they cook the food right in front of you! I have never been to one before, and I was completely enthralled watching him cook! It was so much fun! Then we headed over to the PowerHouse Brewery for a pitcher of the porter. It is such a good beer! mmmmm....
Sunday. Sunday was one of those days that I dream about. Those days where you wake up slow and move even slower. I didn't have to go anywhere, I didn't have to do anything and it was wonderful. Been wishing every day this week could have been like Sunday. Instead I have been waking up late and moving slow and feeling rushed. But it is all okay. That is what life is about!
And Christmas Eve is tomorrow. And Freeman gets to see his blanket tomorrow. I am so excited about it, I could just burst. I know he is going to love it. It has to be the 2nd hardest blanket I have ever done. And it will be totally worth it when he opens it up tomorrow!
