Big plans?  Maybe not…

I had big plans for the weekend.
I was going to attend a percussion festival; they were offering dance classes and having some cool performances.  I was going to go to a costume workshop.  I was going to go to a street fair.  I was going to shop for new shoes.

Instead I found myself distracted by the sound of the rain hitting the window in my living room and the warmth of my cat curled up in my lap.  A cup of hot tea and a good book topped off the situation and the day was lost to me.  I am also working on a new blanket.  The pattern calls for ~800 little squares.  I am up to 180.  I’m pretty excited about it even if it will take me 6 months to finish!
