Ahhh… Friday…
Ahhh... Friday...No longer feeling like doing the work on my desk, I now feel like goofing off.
In doing so I have enlightened myself in some of the political commentary that is going on in the blog world. I really enjoy this guy: http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/ - "Joshua Micah Marshall is a writer living in Washington, DC. I know - you really don't care about all the bio stuff - but his writing is pretty interesting to me. He is definitely a democrat - but an intelligent one. He makes some very good points and observations.
I also went in search of a squishy head toy at the University Bookstore. They didn't have the squishy head I was hoping for - but instead I got this great book Darkside Zodiac by Stella Hyde. It cracks me up! It's pretty true to the title - it's all the bad things about a sign. Take Capricorn for instance - it states, "On the Darkside, this makes you a cold, cruel, petty-minded slave driver with unsuspected yet unquenchable ambition and an addiction to tight-fisted penny pinching." And that is only a taste - it's pretty funny (and also a little true.)
Cleo Update:
She's making quick progress - she jumped into her usual position between the shower curtains as I was taking a shower this morning. She is also limping a lot less. She also made her way to the screen door this morning (a place she has been avoiding since her flight.) I need to get chicken wire this weekend and put that up so she can go back outside. Until I have the wire firmly in place she is NOT allowed outside.
