Cherry Bomb
My household has been full of discussion regarding bedside table lamps. I wanted antique bronze lamps with a nice traditional look. Hubby wanted modern white lamps that were made of blown glass. We searched and searched for a compromise.
Then I found the ‘South Beach Cherry’ lamps. They look like cherry bombs to me and fit perfectly in the bedroom. They are a nice primary red that works with the art work on the other side of the room.
Soon enough we will have a finished room - if only we could decide on curtains....
Dancing Queen
Sunday night I performed for the second time at my studio. This time the show was all about desserts and drinks. I decided to dance “tequila” and I think I did a pretty good job on my costume.
The show was a huge success and many people expressed saddness that we weren’t doing a second show. It was a lot of work, serving drinks and food as well as dancing in the show. But it was fun

Cat adventures!
Wonder kitty strikes again! This time Cleo managed to jump? Fall? Off our 2nd story deck and end up in the grass below.
I heard her crying and almost knew for certain that she was no longer in the house. After completely searching the inside of the house, I wallked outside under the deck and called for her. She came trotting out to see me, scared but ok. She didn’t seem to hurt herself, though she was walking with a limp.
Jager, on the other hand, seems have finally figured out the kitty door. Hubby found her outside this morning and neither of us had let her out. Just in time to spend the summer outdoors watching birds, squirells and other critters.
