Calm after the storm
It’s been a super busy week for me. I can’t even count the number of boxes of office supplies I have given away. The college student who needed binders for class. The man who came to get a space heater for an admin. And so many more.
I’m exhausted from the effort of running loads of supplies to peoples cars, from packing the supplies, writing people back and taking phone calls. It’s been a full time job this week.
Now I finally get to relax. I’m at the Crumpet shop with my love, enjoying a good breakfast and some lovely tea.

Couples Hearts
We decided to play Hearts to decide who was paying for breakfast in
the morning. We played individually and then added our scores together to see which couple won.
Hubby’s brother and sister-in-law were winning at first and I ran my score all the way up to 99. Then I held steady at 99 for 5 hands!
Hubby and I won by 6 points in the end! Guess we’re not buying breakfast in the morning!

So glad that’s not me…
We’re moving at work. This has caused local packrats to whimper in dispair.
One pack rat sits next to me. We informed that she has until end of
day today to clean out her file cabinets and clean up her desk. She moved all the “stuff” from her cabinets to her desk, but hasn’t made a lot of progress. Plus she’s out of town next week.
I feel a little bad for her, but she has known about moving for
several months.
My desk is almost empty, I only have 3 files. I’m so glad I’m able to throw things away!
