It seemed like a good idea…
At 6 am this morning, light tan colored socks with brown spots seemed like they would go great with my brown shoes and kakhi pants...little did I know it would just look like a chocolate and vanilla mess.

Moved!
And just like that - I live somewhere else!
Hubby decided last week that we should move last weekend. He made all the plans, rented the trailer and let me know what was happening. It was a different position to be in - but I can see why people like to follow other’s lead! We’re almost out of the old place - perhaps one more load will do it. There’s just the niggling smaller items that have to be loaded seperately left.
Since our lenders did such a great job for us, we got them gift baskets and delivered them yesterday. The people we worked with were so surprised and delighted! It was great.
Though we’ve been sleeping in the house since Sunday - it really hit me this morning that we live somewhere else now. It was the bus ride that did it. We’ve driven in the last two days so we can go right after work to pick up stuff from the apartment. Today, no driving. The bus ride was shorter than the one from Ballard. Of course the views were different as well - it’s going to take some time to figure out where things are in this new part of town. Exciting!
With moving, parade practice and more work at work, I may be blogging a bit less. Things should settle down in the next couple of weeks!
