Bad day for knees

Not sure what was up today, but I’ve successfully banged my knees
seven times today.
It all started in the bathroom where I banged one knee into the corner of the bathroom counter hard enough to break the skin and draw blood.
Its been down hill since then…
Poor knees.

Working on a Plan

A project plan that is. My boss has determined that one of my “areas for growth” is developing project schedules. I’d forgotten how often I’ve done this in the past.
Needless to say, I’ve been working hard to get something developed quickly, the project I’m working on is already 4 weeks behind!
The group I am working with is significantly more relaxed than my last group. Today one of my team members did a cartwheel in my cube aisle!  He almost toppled over sideways - but did better than I could have by
a long shot!
Below is a lovely picture from our rapid project planning session.  Don’t you just love all the colors?

Nuts!

I spent most of the morning working so Hubby decided it was time to head out in the sunshine.
We mapped some houses and headed out to enjoy the sun. We ran into several open houses and explored the posibilities. We found one place that hadn’t been updated since it was built. I’m pretty sure we saw the existing stove on the kitchen...definitly not for me!
After a couple of hours, we gave up on house hunting and stopped off for beer and some curried cashews.
A great afternoon!

Spring time with my love

The trees are blooming, the sun is shining, I’m with my love on a Friday morning.
Life couldn’t be much better…

Now that’s entertainment!

The Moisture Festival is in full swing and I bought tickets for Hubby, his friend Lance and I. We’re attending the 21 and over show, so no pictures of the live action for you! Besides its far to entertaining for me to look away during the actual show. We’ve seen two burlesque dancers, two trapeeze artists who were AMAZING and a troupe of acrobat dancers that did a slow motion street fight as well as juggled. Next are some more trapeeze artists - these using cloth instead of ropes.  Its intermission and I can’t wait to see the rest of the show!
