The sun is setting…
The sun is slowly setting on our third night in Florida. We’ve got lots of adventures planned over the next few days, but for now it Hubby, me and a thousand other tourists enjoying a sunset together.How blessed are we?

The drive down was beautiful, if a bit grueling, but we’ve made it and we’re grabbing a quick bite to eat before heading back out into the
sun and Duvall street!

Trapped!
Our sunny Florida vacation has had a minor glitch in the form of a Florida downpour. We were enjoying a tour of Vizcaya when it started coming down in warm fresh buckets. Its been a long time since I was in warm rain-so different from the cold showers in Seattle!

Miami
We made it to Miami about four pm today. Tired and sweaty, we both indulged in long showers. I’m not sure that taking a red eye followed up by hours of driving was the best thing to do...but we’re glad to finally be here.
The hotel staff are super friendly, so we are going to ask some advice on a good place to eat (after the complimentary happy hour) and hopefully find some good food to indulge in. Then it will be an early night tonight, so we wake up refreshed. We have plans for lots of sunshine and site seeing tomorrow, can hardly wait!
