E Beer
Feeling a little better today so Hubby and I headed out to a little Irish pub for a few beers with his long time friend Nessa. He and Nessa were born 12 hours apart and have known each other their whole lives, so they try to get together every year and celebrate.
Nessa was wonderful and offered to drive the drunks home. On the way
to the car we passed by a VERY drunk man who got VERY excited about Hubby’s WSU headband. He talked a lot about Pullman before asking us for money. His line when we refused was one of the best I’ve heard. He said “you don’t have 85 cents? Well at least give me a piggy back ride!"Needless to say, we walked quickly away.
Below is my beer for the night. I drew an E in the foam to let every one know it was mine

Ice, ice Every where
I heard from a fellow at the bus stop that Seattle made the national news this morning because of the snow and ice we got over night.
It is pretty cold this morning and I am Very glad I get to count on King County Metro to get me to work safely. The side streets are covered in ice, though the main streets are clear.
I’m feeling a little better today- after hours of sleep yesterday I should hope so! Still under the weather but well enough to head back into the office.
Hubby is sick as well and we spent his birthday night cuddled up under blankets, watching the fire and eating soup for dinner.
Next year we’re planning a trip to Mexico!

Breakfast Art
Hubby wanted Senor Moose for his “birthday” breakfast, so as soon as
we woke up we hopped out of bed and headed into town.
Ballard has become the “place to be” so every resturant fills quickly. We got the second to last table and settled in to wait for our food. While waiting Hubby drew this:
