Me loves me some kickball!
That’s right – it’s Kickball season again and this year I am PUMPED. Our first game was last Sunday and I got on base EVERY TIME. Yep, you read that correctly. Every time I went up to “bat” I made it on base. I was very proud of myself.
Of course I never made it past first base, but it’s all about the baby steps right?
My next goal will be actually catching the ball when it’s kicked in my direction. I can do it during practice, but can’t seem to do it during the game.

Sometimes it takes a Psychic
I’ve been thinking about changing my life. Well, I’ve been thinking of changing the way I think about life, the way I do things. I was doing really well with it all, having discussion about it and planning on what I wanted to change.
Then I took a vacation. Instead of coming back from CA with a plan in mind, I just came back. And dropped the ball. I wasn’t thinking about how to change my life, my way of thinking anymore. I was just living miserably.
So, last weekend my mother, one of her friend’s (D) and I went to a parapsychology fair. I love these types of fairs; they are right up my alley. I always find something meaningful or wonderful at them.
This time I met a psychic who told me what everyone else has been trying to tell me for a few months now.
Get off my butt and change already!
So I have done a few things. I’ve updated the ‘ol resume. I’ve re-arranged a few things in the apartment to give me some little spaces all my own.
The best thing that’s come so far was from Hubby. He bought me the most wonderful gift, the gift of music!
It’s official, I am now one of the ear-budded masses! Now I can create my own soundtrack for life!
