Did you notice?
Dude, we’re on a conference call.
And the microphone for the speaker phone is directly in front of you.
Perhaps you shouldn’t be holding that side conversation…
Just maybe? Ya think?
Not that it really matters; the slow talker is at it again.
He’s got the floor, he’s on his soapbox, he’s on a roll.
He’s more than willing to go over the allotted time to continue preaching his message of compliance.
So, I guess, keep talking.
I’m sure the people on the phone find your conversation more interesting to what the slow talker is saying.

Allergies
My allergies have been killin me lately. I was up off and on through-out Sunday night dealing with the itchy eyes, scratchy throat and sneezing. It was horrible. I woke up yesterday exhausted and wasn’t quite myself the rest of the day. I forget what allergies actually do to a person. I have been so lucky since moving up here, my allergies are significantly better. I don’t spend entire days sleeping because I have no energy due to my body fighting itself.
I did get a new allergy prescription. The new stuff leaves me with an extra dry mouth, but that seems to be the only side-effect. Yeah!
Pants…
Tee hee hee. I’ve learned something about men and clothes. Men don’t understand women’s fashion. Heck, half the time I don’t understand women’s fashions. But I have learned over the years to get a good giggle out of some of the things people will wear.
I work in Barbie World. Okay, several “Barbie” like women work on my floor. They work extra hard at being cute and you can count on them to have the latest fashions on, every day.
One outfit in particular that gives me the giggles every time I see it. The woman wearing it looks okay, but…she wears cropped palazzo pants. With stiletto heels. And she’s tiny. So, and I really wish I had a picture of this, she’s a tiny girl, small-waisted with stick thin legs and she is wearing cropped pants that hit her mid calf. The pants are extra wide at the bottom and have a little ruffle. Then she tops the outfit off with 3 inch stiletto heels. Every time she wears this combo I find myself giggling.
When I tried to explain this to a couple of guys they look at me as though I were crazy. Sure, she’s a cute girl and it doesn’t look horrible, but 3 inch heels with cropped palazzo pants…
