Added features!
Added features!I have added the ability for people to post comments to my blog - you can tell me directly what you are thinking as soon as you read - how cool is that?
Also - I have added a "permalink" feature. Say you REALLY like what I had to say one day and you wanted to share it, but the person you wanted to read my posting was out of the office for 6 weeks. With the "permalink" feature you can send the link to the specific posting you wanted them to read! No more searching! Yeah!
So - drop me a comment and tell me what you think!

Update:
Update:So - apparently the reason why I am having computer problems and can't calendar anything is because my boss' calendar is having issues and/or her mailbox is full.
Yipee!!!
Officially…
Officially...I am officially having a bad day.
I thought perhaps it was only going to be a partially bad day, that there would be this issue and that would be it and I could get over it and move on.
The issue has since grown into a problem that will no longer allow me to work in the manner I have become accustomed to.
Hence, I am having a bad day.
All I can say is "crap"
My outlook will no longer work. I can no longer access my calendar. When I get an email, my whole PC is wont to shut down completely. Do you know how many emails I get? Yeah - it's a problem.
I called it in - I called about 3 hours ago. Said - oh yeah - I can no longer do my job - do you mind helping me out? Yeah - nothing. Big black hole.
Maybe this is a message from the universe that I should not have entered the office today...
Thursday already?
Yeah - so I took the GMAT yesterday - I didn't do the best so I will have to re-take it. That's okay though, I was hoping to do well, but I think I knew deep down that this was more of a practice test. I'm not being to hard on myself. Especially considering how long it has been since I have done any of the crap they ask you to do. Sometimes life just works that way.Story Time....
Rick (mom's boyfriend) has a little sister. She's probably 12 or 13 now, maybe older but I don't really keep track of her. Anyway, she had decided at some point that she would collect beanie babies, which is all fine and dandy until she outgrew them. Rick was making a trip home and stopped by to see his dad and she handed him two large bags of beanie babies to deliver to her nephew and niece.
When mom saw these, she decided to pick out a few for family and friends.
She decided upon the Dragon for my brother -

She picked this really cool lizard named "Dragon Slayer" for my sister-in-law...

For me she picked:

Yup - a buzzard. Now she said when she gave it to me that when she saw it it just made her think of me...
tell me that you see the funniness in this...
(side note, she gets upset when I point out the fact that the beanie she picked for me is a carrion eating creature that is not known for its good qualities. She really picked it out because its has neat coloring and is soft. And it does have great coloring and is really soft, but it is still a buzzard and that makes me laugh.)
So - this morning I get into work and I get this message from my friend Erin:
"I thought you'd find this funny. You know, since your representative
animal is a buzzard for whatever reason
HAHAHAHAHA! That story just makes me laugh!
Cleo Update:
I think my cat is stupid. I wasn't sure before, but yesterday she proved to me that intelligence is not her strong suit. I had a candle lit, it was sitting on my kitchen table. Cleo proceeded to go up to the candle and sniff it (she tried to lick the flame as well.) As she was trying to sniff it she burned some of her whiskers. Now, you would think that burning off her whiskers would tell her that fire is hot and not to go near it. Not my kitty! She kept going back to the flames trying to figure them out. I had to yell at her several times to STAY AWAY from the open flames. Just thinking about having to take her to the vet again because she burned off all of the hair on her face... can you imagine what they would think? First I go in because she jumped off my balcony and then I'm in again (in less than 2 weeks) because my cat decided to burn the hair off her face... somehow I don't think they would look upon me with kind eyes...

Urg… Tuesday….
Urg... Tuesday....There is something to be said about long 3 day weekends. There is something to be said about spending an ENTIRE day doing as little as possible. It was great. Remind me again why I can't do that every day?
The weekend was fairly uneventful - which was great. I need all the down-time I can get. I have the strange feeling that the next - I dunno - few months will be CRAZY. So much is happening and I'm not sure that I am at all prepared. Of course all of this revolves around work. Cause my personal life is not that exciting at the moment... well not since the cat jumped off the balcony.
Cleo update: The chicken wire is up and she is allowed outside again. She was not happy about the chicken wire. I am VERY happy about the chicken wire. I'm sure it doesn't look that great - but if it keeps the cat where she belongs... The limp is gone and she is jumping almost as well as she was a week ago, so I'm going to claim that she is recovered!
And that is about all I have to write at the moment. I'm at work and don't wanna be - I'd rather be at home reading my book. But I can't have everything, so I guess it's back to work with me!
