YAWN….
YAWN....So last night we had a team outing for the project team I am on. We went over to Lori's house for a wine tasting. Something I have never done before. I thought it was pretty cool - but I must say I got intoxicated REALLY fast. I never have had a tolerance for wine. Which is cool with me. I don't mind not being able to hold my wine
I can walk around rather loopy and very happy Got to bed late though. Waking up this morning was tough. And working on the budget numbers this morning was even tougher.Tomorrow is Friday though and that makes everything better! Yippee! Yeah for Fridays!
For some reason, the folks at work decided that I need a pooping pig. I am not sure why...

DON"T TOUCH MY PIZZA!
DON"T TOUCH MY PIZZA!Apparently there is a very hungry, very mean, very angry monster that rises to the surface of my disposition when my fellow co-workers try to eat my lunch.
To help out with a charity drive, I ordered a pizza. Said pizza arrived and I set it on a nearby table that NO ONE ever goes to, thinking foolishly that it would be safe. Said pizza was left completely alone until I delivered a couple of pieces to someone who chipped in for it. When I arrived back at the table there were two of my co-workers hovering over the pizza, smelling it, and attempting to take a piece. Seeing this I immediately rushed forward telling them to KEEP THEIR HANDS OFF MY LUNCH.
I guess I also turned red and looked not unlike that angry faced emoticon that you can use in IM.
Freeman admonished me thoroughly for re-acting as I did. My co-workers were also very frightened and seemed to cower in front of me as I walked away. Freeman stated that if he ever had an interaction with me like that he would be very tempted never to talk to me again.
Personally I didn't think my re-action was that bad... But then I wasn't on the receiving end...
All I can say really, is don't touch my lunch.

TUESDAY!I spent entirely too much time blogging yesterday
I will not try to repeat that feat today.
Though we are having a gift exchange and I am very excited about it.
I think my gift will be one of the best there...
Plus we are having breakfast and holiday music and I am just plain excited about the whole thing!

Motivation, motivation, where art thou motivation?
Motivation, motivation, where art thou motivation?I seem to have lost it somewhere on the way into work. I was fully planning on working steadily all morning to finish up the budget items and get things back on track. But I seem to have a serious lack of direction. I have the papers in front of me, my goal is clearly defined, and all I really want to do is surf the net. Been to some interesting places though.
First I visited Sour Bob who seems to be on a rant about the fact that people are trying to tell him what is about - like they know him from his blog. And also they are trying to tell him what mental disorders he has. Personally I think that is a fun one - maybe someone should make a board game out of that "let's play 'mental disorder' k? You be the doctor and I will be the bi-polar with AADD and fighting with the wrong medication" That could be a fun one...
So - Bob's site took me to Wendy's site which is call Pound. Which was okay - I only read a bit - it was the link on her site that really made me laugh: discothekid Really - when are they coming after bush?
From there I was transferred to Cinnemon's site where I ran into a picture of her in a kitty eared hat and then decided that I should finish emailing Erin. She would love a hat like that. Too bad I dislike knitting so much... of course I think she still has the hat with the puff balls on it - and really - you can't beat the hat with the puff balls.
This weekend was Fun! Freeman took me to a MOVIE!!! We saw Pirates of the Caribbean. It wasn't a movie I would have paid full price to see (so I am glad we went to the cheap theater) but it was still fun. The special effects were really cool. I had to agree with Freeman's final thought though, "There wasn't enough pirate lingo." There sure wasn't! The language was very modern. Yuck. But I liked Johnny Depp. And I really liked his entrance.
Okay. Fine. People have been walking up to my desk and asking me work related questions while they stare at my screen and wonder what it is I am doing. I guess I should do some work before it's noon....
