Look!  I’m in South Park!

Look! I'm in South Park!

Which really cracks me up because I was actually IN south park on Friday. We took pictures - mostly because people always ask me what South Park really looks like. It is hard to tell them there isn't really a town south park. Really there is just a big empty valley with lots of farmers (who knows how they live there) and lots of highway traffic. South park is where I got into my first accident. A 17 car pile up - I was car #9. There were ground blizzards and 2 inches of ice on the road. I was sitting in my truck after the cars had stopped colliding and watched a man stand on the road and literally get blown across the highway from the wind and the ice. It was interesting. I was really lucky. I just had minor whiplash. The truck had some damage too - but it was fixed.

Anyway - the REAL south park isn't that funny... though I imagine that if all the people from the TV show were actually there it would be pretty funny....

Over the river and through the woods….

Over the river and through the woods....

That is so true here! My grandparents live in the mountains of Colorado - Buena Vista - it is so pretty here. And so very different from Washington! It is so dry here! I feel like all the moisture is being sucked right out of my body! I keep slathering myself with lotion - but to no avail. I just stay dry! and my hair isn't curly! I will be so glad to get home - it is just easier!

So - the Av's game sucked. I don't think I have ever seen a professional team play so badly. They were slipping all over the ice - had horrible puck control and couldn't seem to make a goal to save their lives. Then they finally got a goal the ref's called it as not in! Oh the fans were angry! But it really didn't matter. The avs lost the game from the beginning. Oh well smile I had a good time hanging out with Mark and screaming at the team to do better smile

Now I am at my grandparent's house. We have tons to do - there never seems to be enough time to get it all done. Off to work!

MONDAY AND I AM NOT AT WORK!!!!

MONDAY AND I AM NOT AT WORK!!!!

I am at Leanne's house! Whoo Hoo!!!

So - the drive down was generally uninteresting but fun. I slept a lot. I didn't mean to - but there is something about the motion of the car that just puts me right to sleep. Mom and I talked a lot too. Which is always good. Seems that we always have a lot to say to each other.

It was a good drive - I drove through some of Wyoming - through some pretty hectic ground blizzards.... And it was really amazing for me! I have had problems driving in Ground blizzards since I got in the 17 car pile up when I was 17. There were times on the drive where I was very nervous because I had very little visibility. The road seemed to just disappear from in front of me. But mom was there with me and that really helped. I MADE it!! smile After we got clear of them she took over driving again. The roads weren't bad, but I needed a break. She said the seat was super warm from me being as nervous as I was. But yeah me! I did something I have been afraid of doing for years.

Finally got to CO yesterday. I dropped mom off at Mark's house and headed over to Leanne's. She wasn't here - so I called up Erin - who happens to live right down the road now! She came and picked me up. We went and grabbed Angie from the mall - I haven't seen Angie in forever. She still looks the same - still Ang. Still happy and healthy, which makes me happy smile She's up here visiting for the holiday too - she is normally in Fort Worth, Texas! Then we met Carrie and Enchi and the Fox and Hound (at least I think that is where we were) It was fun to see everyone. Even if it was a short visit. Everyone looks good and healthy smile Yeah!

Today is an easy day - I am hanging out watching TV. Later I will run some errands and pick up lunch smile Leanne is working from home today - so I am not lonely. Not that I would care to be here by myself - but her house is Freakin Huge! I'm happy for her - she is happy here smile Tonight Mark is taking me to a Hockey game - Go Avalanche! Should be tons of fun.

Tomorrow mom and I are off to BV to see the grandparents. I am so excited to get up there and visit. It is hard to believe that it has been so long since I last saw them.

Hope everyone is having fun at work!!! hahahahah (evil laugh)

AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm leaving in an Xterra!!!
No jet planes here... I kind of wish there were, but that wouldn't help me get my cedar chest back from my grandparents... unless it was a personal jet plane, the kind I wouldn't have to share with anyone... then I could bring as much stuff as I wanted smile
As it is - I am leaving tomorrow morning for Sunny, and from what I understand, freezing Colorado! Whoo Hooo!!! I am excited to see everyone that I haven't seen in a REALLY LONG time! And things have changed. Which is pretty exciting if you ask me! I like to see what people have been up to when I haven't seen them in a REALLY LONG time smile

See? Now I am just killing time before I rush out of here to Tiki Bob's Cantina. I really should have worn my shirt today - but it freakin cold here and I didn't want to be so cold for the walk up from the train station that I would, well, freeze my ass off. But I WILL use the Gift Cert that my group got for me - $20 goes a long way with $2 wells... that is 10 drinks! Heck - that is 8 drinks and a tip!

Looks like I got my yarn too! Yippee! I know some people who will be happy at Christmas time!!!

Stuff….

Stuff....

So - I am in training today - at least I am supposed to be in training. I was supposed to be in training all week. And it was only today that we actually sat down for the "official" training. It was junk. It sucked. I'm not at all confident that I got anything out of what I spent 6 hours learning about... If it was even that long.

I had all kinds of things I wanted to write about today - I was struck by the writing bug - but I didn't have time to get to a keyboard and staring blankly at a computer screen for hours has fried my brain. I no longer know what I was going to write about... and that just sucks! I really need to start writing things down as they come to me so that I can express myself a little better...
