Tuesday!

Tuesday!

So - I had my entire morning planned out, I had a list of things to accomplish before noon and I had every intention of getting them all completed. Then the train was 1/2 hour late. I am close to having things completed, but not like I wanted to. Ahh, the joys of mass transit! But I still love riding the train. Even if we were late, my job has no life threatening components, so there wasn't a lot of stress involved.

I was e-mailing Carrie and Enchi because I realized I don't have either of their telephone numbers any more and was hit with a wave of homesickness. Sometimes I miss my friends so much... I wonder if they know that?

Oh well

On to other things!

Freeman and I were talking about taking a trip over to the rain forest. We'll see if we get there, but it would be a fun excursion to go on. It has been rainy so the moss would be lush... and there is nothing like a NW Forest to get the imagination running wild...

I was out searching the net again and came across http://www.similarminds.com/ which is this nifty little site with all these personality tests. I love personality tests. And I still test as an INFJ on the Meyers Briggs test, so even if they are abbreviated tests they still have some accuracy.

What a weekend!

What a weekend! Not happy to be back at work... The weekends are never long enough. There are always things I want to do and I never seem to get to them.

Freeman and I worked on my web page on Saturday - that was fun

Then we burned a bunch of CD's so we both have new music to listen to this week. Yeah! The rest of the weekend was a blur of catnaps, TV, movies and shopping. Mom bought yarn for another afghan and I decided it will part of her birthday present. Then we ran around looking at all the crafty stuff we want but don't need. Mom and I have such fun shopping together

In other news - my friend Carrie passed the Bar! Yeah Carrie! I am so happy for her. I know she worked really hard to get where she is, I just think it is fabulous that she did it.

And it is Enchi's birthday! I wish was there to celebrate with her

I got taken out to lunch today - Yeah!! Free meals rock! Especially when they are to places like the Brooklyn.
Then I realized that next Monday is a bank Holiday! Whoo hoo! I am really looking forward to a 3 day weekend!

my first real blog

So - I am feeling that because this is my first real blog, that I should say something important. But nothing comes to mind.
And, as nothing is in my head to write about, I start browsing the net to steal ideas from others. Still not finding anything I come to blogger.com and sit staring at the screen. Agony. What do I say?

I go to the home page and look at the articles there. I noticed that there is a section that lists all the blogs that have been recently updated and randomly click on a few to see what other people are really writing about. Huh. A lot of them are really uninteresting. Really. I mean it. There is one that is nothing but football scores for a HS team somewhere. I honestly didn't stay long enough to find out where. I knew there had to be something better to look at. And I was right!

I clicked on a different site, I have no idea which one now. Which is really unfortunate because I should have writen it down or something... Regardless, I click on this site (which was in French) and there is this wonderful little gif thing happening. It looks fun so I watch it. Then I realize that it is a guy, stripping, and look he has a camera, and wow, he is contorting himself in all these weird positions to take pictues. And the whole time he still has his sunglasses on.

It was great. I really should have paid attention to where I was...
