Chips - Chips - Chips!The potluck was good - the food went really fast - there is still some guacamole left, but something tells me I will have NO problems getting rid of it....
Ross was supposed to buy chips for me (lori gave him $$) and he forgot. So we had to run up to the store real quick to get some. Which was an adventure! There was some huge thing going on at Benaroya Hall and SAM (Seattle Art Museum) and there were TONS of kids everywhere!!! It was great! They were all yelling at me and asking me about my costume... I loved it! There were even kids hanging out of their bus windows to yell at me!
It is so much fun to dress up! All the not dressed up people look at you and smile and think happy thoughts because of it...
And pink is such a happy color.... Yeah!

It is way cool, and it was easy to put together. I am in all Pink! Gotta love the pink The train ride in was fun. The walk up 2nd was more fun. I got hollered at as we walked past the mission - Pink Cadillac! Where is my pink Cadillac? It was fun. I like to dress up in something bright because it makes people smile. And I have gotten a fair amount of compliments on the wig. It really is a good color with my complexion. It is funny how many people don't recognize me too... Ha!
We are having a potluck for lunch - I made my guacamole - the best baby! I made it spicier than normal, just to add a kick to Friday!
Not much is expected for the weekend. I am going to bake a pumpkin pie with mom, and probably help her clean house a little. Need to pick up yarn for my next adventure in blanket making. Also need to pick up a racquet ball racquet and some gear so I can start learning something new!

One Day till Halloween!!!!
One Day till Halloween!!!!I am so excited to get dressed up tomorrow! Even if my costume isn't that great - at least I will be participating in a long standing tradition of chasing away the evil spirits that come so close this time of the year!
Interesting Office Behavior...or maybe it is just interesting behavior in general...
I consider myself a pretty outgoing person in the office setting (which isn't how I am every where I know, but in the office I am outgoing) so when I almost run into people when trying to pass them in the halls and stuff I always say sorry and laugh. Cause it is funny when you are dancing with someone in the hallways! Regardless, I have noticed that there are some really peculiar behaviors when people have this happen to them. Just today I was almost running into this guy on my floor - instead of acknowledging my presence, he kept looking at the sheet of paper in his hands. He was scowling (which is nothing new, I don't think I have ever seen anything but a scowl on this person's face) and never once looked at me as I tried to get around him. In fact, to keep from "dancing" he simply stood stalk still until I decided where I was going.
I found it really strange.
The other thing is, the doors to my floor are locked. You have to have a card key to get in. So when someone opens the door for me, even if they are just walking out, I try to always thank them. Common courtesy. Well, there is this group of girls, I say girls cause that is how they act, on the floor that never speak to anyone but the people the come in direct contact with every day. I don't know that for a fact, but I try to be nice and smile and all that jazz and I have never gotten a response from them. One of them opened the door to the floor just when I needed her to so I thanked her. I thought it was funny how she never looked at me or acknowledged my presence and just kept walking. Weird.
Maybe it is just that group of people. Perhaps they have a secret pact amongst themselves to never speak to anyone else on the floor... Or maybe just not to speak to my particular group... hmmmm I will have to contemplate that one.

Halloween is coming!
Halloween is coming! Do you know what your costume will be?Yeah - me either. I have a pretty good idea... but I'm not completely positive yet. Not sure what is happening Friday night either. Wanna do SOMETHING but don't know what yet...
Went to the Korum YMCA last night. It was fun! I did all kinds of stuff and feel much better for it today! Yeah me!

So - we are having a Halloween potluck on my floor on Friday and we got this note:
With the upcoming potluck on Friday, we need to make room in the refrigerators on both the 7th and 9th floors. Anything left in the refrigerators/freezers without a clear name/date on it after 3:30pm tomorrow, Thursday, will be thrown away. They’re getting pretty gross and it’s time for a serious clean anyway!
I'm just really excited about not having to smell them for a week (until someone leaves milk to spoil....
