Ahh…. Lovely Saturday.
Ahh.... Lovely Saturday.I meant to work hard yesterday and get the budget updated and all that jazz (for work) and I ended up sleeping till 9. Then I got out of bed and watched TV for an hour. It felt lovely. I then made my way to Freeman's house to check my email - cause it is faster for me to drive to his house and check my email, whereas at my house I have to boot my PC (like 15 mins) then use dial up (another 10 to connect and get a page) it is just a pain - then I went home and got ready for court.
Last night was fun. Freeman got his new camera - he loves it! I am so happy for him! I think it was something he was really missing...

Blah Blah BlahFried. My brain is fried. I think I want a beer. Or maybe just a nice shot of something to smooth out the night. Work has been super busy this afternoon. All kinds of things to get done and I will be gone for 3 days! Ack! Oh well

Crap!
Crap!I have been very busy at work. I was listening to the radio this morning and they read my horoscope - it went something like this: Scorpio, your workload will significantly increase today. Normally they are way off on these, but today they hit the nail on the head!
I'm excited though. I don't have time to do some things, like create huge wonderfully indepth blogs, but I am able to keep my mind a little more active! Which rocks! The more I think, the more my mind churns and the more ideas I come up with... You know the drill. It's nothing new
7 more days till my birthday! I don't know why I am so freakin excited about it this year, but I am. Maybe it is the long weekend that helps me out. Though I still have to work a half day on Friday (darn budget, will it never end?) and it looks like Monday will be a half day as well. Somewhere in all the normal work that I have to get done, I also have to do a bunch of reading for the new track I am on. It kind of rocks, though, to be thinking about something other than the normal "project" stuff I have been doing for years. I really have been doing my job for awhile now... No wonder I find it boring!
Okay - enough of that! I hope everyone is having a great day cause it is WEDNESDAY!!!

Ack… Monday again?
Ack... Monday again?The weekend was FUN! On Friday we went to a Haunted House hosted by The Funky Monkey 104.9 It was a lot of fun. There were clowns with chain saws, giant monkeys going "rharh" and much much more! There was a room filled with doors that didn't open, including one that was open but covered with plexi glass, so you thought you could get through but you really couldn't. Took us forever to find our was out of that one! Last, but not least, there was the girl that got chased by another mask wearing chainsaw carrying guy... She ran from him, tripped and fell into a ditch, but continued to scream in terror as she was covered with grass and dirt. I laughed, but was secretly very glad the guy didn't come after me, otherwise it might have been me in that Ditch!
Helped mom with some things around her house and baked a pumpkin pie on Saturday. The pie turned out really well
Of course it did! Mom's is the best pumpkin pie I have ever tasted! I know Erin would totally back me up on that one!Sunday I learned a little about playing racquet ball. I need to be a little quicker on the return, but having a court at my apartment complex should help me with practice... Plus Freeman said he would try and play with me once a week. I don't think I did too bad for my first try... but there is definite room for improvement! The weather has been funky the last few days - I almost think I am back in CO! It was cold and snowy Sunday morning, but warmed up enough in the afternoon so there was blue sky and the snow melted! This morning it was clear and VERY cold... Ack! I didn't sign up for this!!!
Otherwise - it is only 9 days till my birthday! I am so excited! I love birthdays... Just the sheer joy of knowing I made it through another year!
