Camp Craft!
Urban camping was great this year. Hubby and I earned patches for visiting the “pool” and I made an underwater seascape at the craft table.
The pool was an old patched wading pool. Hubby and I were in charge of the crafts - it was fun to see a bunch of people gluing Popsicle
sticks together and painting them
Yay!

Yay for fancy resturants!
It was the kind of dinner you dream about. An amazing appetizer of thinly sliced beef with some amazing cheese drizzled with truffle oil. Walnut bread with basalmic vinegar and oil. A delicious bottle of
wine, all to start.
We had these amazing lamb chops with pine nuts, capers, tomatoes and mint doused cucumbers.
For desert we had pistashio canoles filled with ricatta cheese,
nutmeg, cinnemon, chocolate and a hint of orange. A few rasberries on the side finished me off.
An amazing dinner finished off a wonderful night. Now we’re back home relaxing in front of the television.
Happy Second Year!
Has it really been two years? It feels as though we have only spent a short time together…
Of course, looking at all we’ve done, it’s almost impossible not to notice the passage of time. It’s been so wonderful so far and here we are, in our new home creating something truly special for the two of us.I’m happier than I’ve ever been on my life and I look forward to what ever comes next.
Hubby bought me these beautiful flowers and left them at my desk at work. He made sure they included all the flowers from our wedding.
Later tonight we’re heading out for a fancy dinner, Italian!
I am one lucky woman.

Surprise!
We’ve been so good at eating at home since we moved, I decided that we needed a special treat for breakfast. Before Hubby could make coffee,
I sugested a trip to our old stomping grounds of Ballard. We headed to one of our favorite places to eat Senor Moose!
Happy Saturday!

Traditions rock
We missed crumpets the last two weeks. I’m glad we made it back this week
